Concealed Carry Certification
All NC CCH classes require State Mandated class session followed by a written and shooting test. During Class you will learn the aspects of carrying a firearm and the NC Laws governing the use of lethal force. Class will also cover Firearm Safety and Ammunition options. If you are unfamiliar with firearms, please request information on the available NRA – Basic Pistol Class.
Cost: The class fee is $110, couples are $100 each. We offer a $10 discount to Law Enforcement, Veterans, Fire Fighters, EMTs & Pastors.

NO LIVE AMMUNITION OR FIREARMS ALLOWED DURING CLASS.
What to bring: Pistol, hearing protection, safety glasses, 50 rounds of ammo & a valid North Carolina Drivers License
We can also provide Pistol, hearing protection, safety glasses, 50 rounds of ammo for an additional $50 fee.
What’s required:**Must be a NC Resident for 30 days and 18 years or older to take the course. Must be 21 and older to be issued a CCH by the Sheriff department. **
Home Defense
Derek Arms offers Level 1, Level 2, and advance Level 3 training in Home Defense. Each course runs 4 hours teaching participants how to defend their home in a variety of crisis events such as Burglary, Robbery, or Home invasion. Participants are taught how to use lethal & non-lethal force against intruders with a variety of weapons and techniques.
Cost: The class fee is $200, couples are $180 each. We offer a $20 discount to Law Enforcement, Veterans, Fire Fighters, EMTs & Pastors.
NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is the best way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting from the top firearms training organization in the world! The course is the first steps for you to obtain the proper certification for your concealed carry permit in some states. Be sure to contact your county, city or state to find out whether this course fulfills the requirement.
Cost: The class fee is $95, couples are $85 each. We offer a $10 discount to Law Enforcement, Veterans, Fire Fighters, EMTs & Pastors.
